TMG acquired the Bethesda Metro Center complex in 1999, comprising a 381-room Hyatt Regency Hotel, a 366,042-square-foot office building and a 1,330-space parking garage in a prime downtown location adjacent to the Bethesda Metro Station. TMG succeeded in converting the asset into a Class A property from 1999 through 2008, during which time TMG experienced occupancy gains, rent increases, and paid parking. TMG orchestrated three separate equity recapitalizations and one exit.
